About Annette O'Brien

With over twelve years' experience, renowned Irish makeup artist Annette O'Brien is among the top in her field. Based in Killarney, Kerry, Annette brings experience, creativity and attention to detail when translating both on-trend and classically chic makeup looks for clients. Annette is a freelance makeup artist working throughout Kerry and Cork specilaising in bridal makeup, editorial and commerical. 

Working with top of the range MAC and Charlotte Tilbury makeup products, which ensure the longevity and quality of finish clients expect, Annette's creative drive and experience are highly sought after. Hundreds of satisfied Brides and a range of high profile/celebrity clients are testament to the high regard with which Annette is held within the profession.

Annette has been nominated for Make-up Artist of the Year 2012 & 2013 and since then her journey to the top of her profession has flourished. In 2018 and won an award for "Bridal Makeup Artist of the Year" and 2019 saw her win her first National award from The Irish Makeup Awards Ceremony where she won "Celebrity Makeup Artist of the Year 2019". An award for "Business Woman of the Year 2019" was her third award of the year.

As a makeup artist Annette has worked with hundreds of brides for their wedding. Regarding each client as a new experience Annette strives to interpret both classic and contemporary styles to create a tailored look ideal for each bride. Her fashion ethos is to enhance individual beauty and help the bride shine through in front of the camera.

Working with passion and an eye for detail Annette has attracted recent editorial and TV collaborations with RTE, The Irish Independent, ITV, RSVP Magazine, Irish Country Magazine, Flawless Magazine and Ireland AM.

In addition, her ability to work with current trends and continually update techniques has bolstered Annette's runway profile. Her impressive client list includes Brown Thomas, Peter Mark, TV3 and UTV.

Annette's client specific approach characterized by a will to collaborate and fresh enthusiasm for each project has also attracted a list of celebrity clients. Recent names include Lucy Kennedy, Kathryn Thomas and Miriam O'Callaghan.

Annette is also dedicated to charity and recently was proud to receive an award from the Marie Keating Foundation in recognition for the Beauty in Pink days held in Le Beau Beauty Salon
